Paul Dupre – Lafon Scissors and Paper Knife
A pair of scissors and letter opener in a hand stitched, elephant gray leather scabbard by Paul Dupre-Lafon for Hermes, Paris. This desk set was well-used by its once owner who was apparently an employee of the Bayer pharmaceutical company–both instruments bear the Bayer company logo, implying that it was perhaps a corporate gift. Leather is embossed ‘Hermes Paris’ to the reverse. The set exhibits honest signs of wear and use throughout and has a great look as such.
