Vladimir Kagan Rosewood Pedestal Table

Pedestal end table, model 6722, comprising an open square body in lacquered rosewood finished with a .75-inch, tinted glass top with radiused corners, designed by Vladimir Kagan for Kagan-Dreyfuss. Minimalist design with maximum presence, ideally suited to display sculpture or to anchor a sofa. 1950s.

Documented in the Kagan monologue (please refer to last image), the width and depth of the table match the published specifications, while the height is slightly taller. This is not uncommon in early Kagan designs where pieces were frequently customized to client specifications.
